A wild report from the league’s own network

Connor Orr of the Newark Star-Ledger wrote today, “A Jets spokesperson denied an NFL Network report today which said that the team still has 12,000 unsold seats for Monday night’s game against Houston and that the vacancies could thrust Tim Tebow into a starting role.”

I have no idea how many tickets are available for this game, but any team that starts a player to sell tickets, is probably not going to be successful in the long run.

I’m not accusing the Jets of thinking this way, because I have no idea if they are.

But any team that does operate this way has their priorities messed up.

And this whole NFL Network thing amazes me. Imagine a league having it’s own network that smears it’s member clubs this way.

It’s bizarre.
