Ahmad and Osi both interested in the Jets Dan Leberfeld

Giants free agents, running back Ahmad Bradshaw and defensive end Osi Umenyiora, have an interest in playing for the Jets.

“The New York Jets are a team that I’ve kinda been thinking about, just to stay home, not make a big move from New York. It’s just right across the street from where I am now,’ Bradshaw told NFL Network.

“Rex Ryan, when I was coming out of college he was with Baltimore at the time and he came down to work me out at Troy, he came to Atlanta, just me and him,” Umenyiora said to the New York Post. “We had a pretty good time out there so I’ve always enjoyed him as a coach and as a person. That might be a good fit.”

Umenyiora would fill the Jets’ enormous need for an edge pass rusher.

It’s really hard to figure out Bradshaw’s future right now because he’s rehabbing a surgical foot.
