An idea for Kenrick Ellis Dan Leberfeld
Kenrick Ellis plays very hard.
He has a great motor for a 345-pound lineman.
But he needs to play with better technique. That should continue to improve under Karl Dunbar.
However, I think something else needs to improve for him to truly realize his potential.
He needs to get into better shape.
And that should include losing 20-25 pounds.
At his current weight, he’s too heavy-legged, and lacks quick twitch. He lumbers too much.
I personally think the guy could be a heck of a player at 320-325 pounds, which is still big enough for the 3-4 nose tackle job.
