Bart Scott can still play Dan Leberfeld

If his toe heals well, Bart Scott still has some football left in him.

He’s a very good player in the box – stopping the run and blitzing.

Is he great in space, in coverage? Not really, but watching a lot of ILB’s in the NFL, most of them struggle in this area.

Scott has plenty of company as a pedestrian ILB in space – plenty.

San Francisco’s ILB combo of Navarro Bowman and Patrick Willis are rare cover guys.

The majority of NFL ILB’s are average in coverage.

Scott can still play.

Will Buffalo make a run at him?
