But the Northern Illinois running back returned to the action pretty quickly.
The young journeyman knows the “Sword of Damocles,” known as an injury settlement, is always hanging over the heads of players at the end of the roster. Chad Spann knows he can’t afford to get hurt.
So he willed himself back into the lineup.
