Ed Reed likely to miss opener Dan Leberfeld

The Jets might get a huge break.
Word out of Baltimore is that superstar safety Ed Reed is going to be put on the PUP list with a hip injury.
This means he would miss the Ravens’ Monday opener against the Jets.
Not having a future Hall-of-Fame safety on the field clearly is a big help to the opposing passing game.
Don’t be shocked if the Ravens claims one of the Jets released defensive backs (the Jets play the same system as Baltimore), perhaps Emanuel Cook or Keith Fitzhugh.
And if Brian Jackson is cut, maybe him.
