Foolish to dismiss all the criticism Dan Leberfeld

Jets executives and Geno Smith are quick to dismiss all the criticism of the player in draft reports.

Two of Smith’s biggest critics have been Pro Football Weekly’s Nolan Nawrocki and The NFL Network’s Mike Mayock.

Hey, it’s understandable that the Jets and Smith aren’t going to give any public credence to the negativity, but the rest of us shouldn’t just dismiss it out of hand.

Where there is smoke, there is fire.

The bottom line is this player has a lot of work to do to improve his game.

Can he do it? We will see. His raw skills are impressive.

But to act like all the criticism is false is foolish and pollyanna.
