Harry Galbreath, who played offensive guard for the Jets in 1996, died Tuesday at the age of 45.
His death was announced by the University of Tennessee (where he played collegiately) and confirmed by CSX Transportation in Mobile, Ala., where Galbreath was working at the time of his passing.
Galbreath played nine years in the NFL. He retired after his one season with the Jets. He was orginally an eighth round pick of the Miami Dolphins in the 1988 draft. Aside from Miami and the Jets, he also played for the Green Bay Packers.
The cause of death is unclear at this point.
