Holmes on tough drop Dan Leberfeld

Santonio Holmes dropped a crossing route in the third quarter he could have taken a long way. He was wide open. Aside from that fact he is human, what was his take on why he dropped the pass?

“I had my eyes (on it).,” Holmes said on Monday. “We watched the film and everything played into my hands exactly. I had my eyes following the ball. You could see on slow-motion in the film that my eyes followed the ball. My hands went down on it. I just think I didn’t get my hands down quick enough to snatch it up. I think I hit it and knocked the ball down, instead of picking it up.”
