Brandon Jacobs told the New York Times he would consider playing for the Jets if he’s released by the Giants.
After the Giants beat the Jets in December, Jacobs said to Rex Ryan on the field, “It’s time to shut up, fat boy,” and Ryan told Jacobs “Go f— yourself.”
“Rex Ryan is a disrespectful bastard; the Jets have a big mouth, big belly coach that talks too much,” Jacobs said after the game.
And now he says he would play for the Jets?
Why would the Jets sign a player who would say that about their coach?
Jacobs feels what he said to Ryan is no big deal.
“We were rivals then,” Jacobs told the Times. “There’s no apology needed.”
