Jets and Ice announce tailgate cooking school

The Jets and the Institute of Culinary Education(ICE) announced today that Chase Sapphire Preferred has become the title partner of the recently formed Official New York Jets Cooking School. The Jets and ICE announced the new partnership last month.

This season, the Official New York Jets Cooking School – Tailgating Division is offering participants an exclusive series of hands-on cooking classes, designed to take their culinary skills and tailgating technique to the next level.  In addition, fans will have the unique chance to tour the stadium, gain field access and meet their favorite Jets players.

Five other presenting partners have teamed up with the new cooking school; Banville & Jones Wine Merchants, Kingsford Charcoal, Premio Foods, Rums of Puerto Rico and Wüsthof.  Each of these partners will bring elements to enhance and elevate the experience of class attendees. Each participant will receive complimentary Wüsthof Classic 6″ cooks and 3″ paring knives, valued at over $190.

The Jets and ICE will kick things off with five events in 2013:

September 21st at MetLife Stadium – “Jets Grilling Boot Camp“

October 7th at ICE – “NY Steakhouse Classics with a Jets Twist”

October 14th at ICE – “Flavor Touchdown! Cooking with Bourbon and Beer”

November 2nd at MetLife Stadium – “Jets Fans Tailgate Favorites”

December 2nd at ICE – “Cooking Jets Player Favorites”
