Jets need to keep DeVito Dan Leberfeld

There is going to be a market for Jets’ free agent defensive end Mike DeVito.

He’s a very good run-stuffing 3-4 defensive end with a terrific motor.

There are so many teams playing the 3-4 now, with New Orleans the latest to jump on board, DeVito will have offers.

But the Jets need to figure out a way to keep him.

And he wants to stay.

He loves being a Jet.

He’s the kind of guy you don’t want lose on the field or in your clubhouse.

John Idzik needs to make this happen. DeVito isn’t greedy. He won’t demand unfair money.
