Jets preseason schedule Dan Leberfeld

An NBC Sunday Night Football home contest versus Carolina on August 26 highlights the Jets 2012 preseason schedule that was announced by the National Football League today. The slate also includes a home game against the Giants and road contests at Cincinnati and Philadelphia.

Following the preseason opener at the Bengals, the Jets return to kickoff their preseason at MetLife Stadium when they host the Giants. The Jets finish the preseason at Philadelphia on Thursday night, Aug. 30.

The NBC contest against the Panthers marks the fourth summer in a row, all with Rex Ryan as head coach, and the 10th out of the last 12 years that the Jets are scheduled to play one of their preseason games on national television.
All times and some dates remain to be determined for these games.
