Jets sign Brunell

The Jets signed veteran quarterback Mark Brunell on Wednesday night. The announcement was made by Ashley Earle.
The Jets not only want Brunell to serve as a reserve quarterback, but to help Mark Sanchez in his development.
Brunell was originally a fifth round of the Green Bay Packers in the 1993 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at Washington. In the NFL, he has played for Green Bay, Jacksonville, Washington and New Orleans. He has 182 career touchdown passes and 107 interceptions. He made the Pro Bowl three times while with Jacksonville. Brunell is currently 39-years-old.
