Jets will not trade up for Richardson Dan Leberfeld

The Jets will not trade up in the draft to select Alabama running back Trent Richardson. The announcement was made by ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio.

The Jets currently have the 16th pick of the first round. They could still trade up a few spots, but don’t want to give up the king’s ransom it takes to get into the top 4-6 area, and that is what it will take to grab Richardson.
