
Kenrick Ellis won’t be deported Dan Leberfeld
Jets nose tackle Kenrick Ellis won’t get deported to his native Jamaica, according to numerous published reports.
Ellis punched a man in the face in Hampton, Virginia, while attending Hampton University, and the case was finally resolved today, and he will get 90 days in jail.
Since he pleased guilty to a misdemeanor, not a felony, he can stay in the country.
Ellis claims the punch was in self-defense.
The Jets picked Ellis in the third round of the 2011 draft.
