Kickers go to stadium Dan Leberfeld

Jets kicker Nick Folk and punter Steve Weatherford went to the New Meadowlands on Thursday to practice in the tricky winds of the new facility.

“Ben (Kotwica) took them,” Mike Westhoff said. “As it gets to this time of year, we will go there and hit some balls. I think [the wind] is reasonable. There will be a certain amount. From what I’ve seen, it’s the best I’ve seen it. I think [the wind] is very managable.”
