Jets Supports Newark Pop Warner with Donations of Helmets and Shoulder Pads

The New York Jets will continue their support and dedication to youth football via their Heads Up! program with a donation to the Newark Pop Warner Football League (NPWFL) for the 2013 season. Through an annual matching grant from the NFL’s Youth Football Fund, the Jets will donate $40,000 to get every player a new helmet in the NPWFL as well as shoulder pads for the entire peewee division.

Jets players will present a check for $40,000 to the NPWFL to support this season and participate in a technique clinic at the conclusion of the presentation. Also, the Jets are donating tickets to the league for the September 22 game against the Buffalo Bills.
