Lockout helping Jets in one respect

The Jets are scheduled to open the season against the Dallas Cowboys.

The longer the lockout lasts, the more it benefits the Jets in this game.

Dallas hired Rob Ryan as their defensive coordinator earlier this off-season.

Rex’s brother needed  a myriad of spring and summer practices to teach and install his playbook.

It’s the middle of May, and Rob hasn’t been able to hold one defensive practice; a lot of teachable moments have been lost.

And the longer this lockout lasts, the more confused Dallas is going to bein the opener (if there is an opener).

The Jets offense should have a huge advantage in this game, thanks to the lockout.
