LSU S Taylor visits Jets – here is the JC scouting report on him Dan Leberfeld

Brandon Taylor – 5-11 ¼, 209 – 4.54 – LSU

Three-year starting strong safety for a big-time program . . . was a captain this past year . . . was co-defensive MVP this past year with all-world CB Maurice Claiborne . . . a terrific center-fielder . . . good bloodlines – two other brothers also played football at LSU . . . was the top cornerback in that state of Louisiana coming out of high school, so that tells you something about his cover skills . . . a willing tackler, but can be sloppy . . .middle round pick.
