Of course Rex wants Revis to remain Dan Leberfeld

Darrelle Revis says Rex Ryan wants him to remain a Jet.

“He wants me to be here,” Revis said on NFL Network. “He will have a say-so…it starts with Woody Johnson.”

Of course Rex wants him to be here – he’s a heck of player.

However, this is a contract issue, a salary cap issue – it has nothing to do with Revis’ rare talent.

Surely, if it was up to Rex, he would just do what they do in Washington to deal with a deficit – print more money.

But that isn’t how it works in the NFL.
