Papelbon latest to chime in on Toradol

Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Jonathan Papelbon admitted recently he used to take Toradol shots while with the Boston Red Sox.

“[The Phillies] told me, ‘We don’t do that here.’ That kind of surprised me,” Papelbon said. “I haven’t had a single Toradol shot since. But here’s the thing you have to understand. There are so many organizations that do it. Not only baseball, but every sport. Football, basketball, hockey. It’s not just the Red Sox.”

You have to give Papelbon credit for not demonizing the Red Sox over this. As he said, Toradol shots are prevalent throughout the world of sports.

It’s a great anti-inflammatory.

So DeMaurice Smith or some reporters can demonize Toradol shots all they want, but I’m telling you, they will not get a lot of support in NFL locker rooms.

In pro football, so many players LOVE these shots before games.

And it’s legal – FDA approved.
