Revis situation a tough one

It’s hard to see the Jets giving Revis a $16-17 million deal right now. It’s a bad economy, ticket sales are poor and the CBA is a mess. Look around the league – lot of angry players being forced to play on one-year tenders. Teams aren’t spending. Perhaps the Jets could move some of the back-end money in Revis’ contract up to this year to placate him, and try to avoid a long-term deal in 2010.
