New Jets’ offensive coordinator Tony Sparano wants his offense to have a fast tempo, and Rex Ryan likes the idea.
“We expect them to be at that kind of tempo and let them know this is how we do things,” Ryan said. “I think that’s great to watch. There is no question about it. You feel it. In a two-minute situation, like [with] Belichick, I always talk about how he organizes his team to handle those two-minute situations. Nobody has done it better than the Dolphins in the last few years. I think that’s really going to help us. Under obviously Tony’s guidance, you see that. That’s who he is. The way he handles the clock, manages the quarterback, I think it’s tremendous.”
