Is Schwartz lying?

When Darrelle Revis’ agent Neil Schwartz says the Jets are offering “zero signing bonus” he’s not telling the truth.
If you don’t believe me, just read this August 1 quote from Mike Tannenbaum.
“We’ve told them multiple times that we’re completely flexible to signing bonuses, option bonuses, roster bonuses and how guarantees are done,” Tannenbaum said.
The Jets have offered to include a signing bonus in the contract.
The hold-up is over total compensation. Once the two sides agree on that, then they could figure out how to allocate the money, and work out the finer points of the deal.
