Should the Jets bring back this fan and locker room favorite?
Talking about free agent quarterback Josh McCown, who was a big help to Sam Darnold during his rookie year in 2018.
McCown played last year for the Philadelphia Eagles.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Jeff McLane, McCown told the Eagles he’s not ready to hang up his cleats just yet.
The Jets could use a veteran #2 QB, unless they re-sign Trevor Siemian, who is set to become a free agent. Siemian spent most of the 2019 season on injured reserve with a lower leg injury suffered against Cleveland on September 16.
McCown is 40 but keeps himself in great shape.
Should the Jets try to bring him back as their #2 QB/Darnold mentor?
It’s certainly something to consider.
