Strange quote from Calvin Pace Dan Leberfeld

John Griffin, who is a long-shot to make the team, is wearing #24, the number Darrelle Revis wore with the Jets.

Revis was traded to Tampa Bay before the draft.

“If I was [Griffin], I think I’d let that number sit down for a year,” Calvin Pace told reporters today. “Big shoes to fill.”

Griffin is a RUNNING BACK who is a long shot to make the team.

How, in any way, shape or form, is he filling Revis’ shoes?

There is nothing wrong with Griffin taking #24.

Revis is gone.
