According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, former Denver Broncos GM Ted Sundquist interviewed for the Jets’ GM job this past week.
Sundquist was the Broncos’ GM from 2002-2007. In his first five seasons on the job, the Broncos had winning records.
Prior to being named Broncos GM, he was Denver’s college scouting director. While he was in that position, the Broncos won back-to-back Super Bowls, in 1997 and 1998.
So the guy has a good resume.
Fox’s Jay Glazer reported “[The Jets] can’t give the position away,” but Sundquist certainly would take the job.
And he’s a very solid candidate.
