One reporter asked Tim Tebow on Thursday if his presence will hurt Mark Sanchez’s ability to lead.
“I hope not,” Tebow said. “I don’t think so. I think that Mark has been a great leader and I think he will continue to be a great leader. He’s someone that works very hard in the weight room, in the classroom, on the practice field, and I think that’s a big key.
“On a football team, you always have a lot of leaders and you always have leaders in different roles at different times. I think we are very blessed to have a lot of leaders from Santonio Holmes to Bart Scott to David Harris to a lot of guys that are leading in a lot of different ways, and I think that’s huge.”
