The difference between top two TEs Jets could consider . . .

The Jets could consider drafting a tight end with the seventh pick of the draft.

The two top tight end prospects are Penn State’s Tyler Warren and Michigan’s Colston Loveland.

In his ranking of the top 150 prospects in the draft, NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah has Warren ranked sixth and Warren ranked seventh.

Jeremiah was asked recently to compare the prospects, and here is what he had to say:

“Loveland, a little more quickness off the line, a little more quickness at the top of routes, can really create separation,” Jeremiah said. “Warren is just a big, massive bully who is going to wall guys off down the field. I think he’s better on the move.

“Whereas I think Warren, you run him down the seam, you’re running on overs, doing those types of things. And he’s just a bully when the ball is up in the air, and he’s a pain to get on the ground. Stylistically different. I would give Warren the edge in the run game, but Loveland competes in that department as well. I have them touching each other on the list, not just in the tight end position but overall. Warren is at six, and Loveland is at seven.”
