
The Jets have signed long-snapper Derek Chard Dan Leberfeld
The New York Jets have signed LS Derek Chard. The announcement were made by General Manager Mike Tannenbaum.
Chard (LS/6-3/245/Connecticut/Burlington, CT) played four seasons at the University of Connecticut. He signed with Pittsburgh as an undrafted free agent (7/28/11) and was waived during training camp (8/4/11).
Both of his parents, James and Cheryl, are UConn graduates.
