Todd McShay on the Jets vis-à-vis wide receivers in the draft Dan Leberfeld
Should the Jets go for a receiver in the first round, or wait? Here are some thoughts from ESPN’s Todd McShay on wideouts the Jets could grab, in the first few rounds.
“If (Michael) Floyd falls to them, it would make it a difficult decision. If not, second, third round, there are
plenty of big, wide receivers that you can bring in that can help you stretch the field out. Alshon Jeffery (South Carolina) is an example of one. Rueben Randall (LSU) is 6’3″ and can get down the field. A.J. Jenkins from
Illinois, Mohamed Sanu from Rutgers who is not fast but big. I don’t think there is any chance that Stephen Hill from Georgia Tech is still available in the second.”
