Jets special teams coach Mike Westhoff lost some of his key players in free agency, including Brad Smith and James Ihedigbo. He also lost Logan Payne temporarily to a dislocated wrist.
“I have without questions, the most adjustments to make,” Westhoff said. “It is not unusual for me to have the most. I have come to realize you can’t keep everyone. It can be frustrating for me, but I understand it. I take it as part of the deal, to bring new guys in, and get them ready to play.”
