During a rally today at MetLife Stadium to honor the Super Bowl champion New York Giants, defensive end Justin Tuck yelled to the crowd, “It’s MetLife Stadium. But the one thing you can be sure of is whose house this is.”
Yes, you certainly can be sure.
It’s a “house” that the Jets and Giants both play in, and also hosts concerts, international soccer events and college football games.
It is not the Giants “house.”
I’m not here to defend the Jets, but what Tuck said is inaccurate.
And if it’s the Giants’ “house” as Tuck claims, then maybe the Giants should pay off the rest of the debt owed on the stadium.
Both teams need to cut out this nonsense over whose stadium it is.
It’s getting old.
