Woody Johnson still a strong believer in Sanchez

At the NFL meetings in Arizona, Jets owner Woody Johnson was asked about quarterback Mark Sanchez, who has struggled the last two seasons.

“We’ll see some changes that will make it lot easier for Mark,’ Johnson said. “I don’t think we’ve seen the best of Mark yet”

First of all, Marty Mornhinweg should just put in his offense, and the Jets should play the best quarterback. Making the new system “easier for Mark,” should not be a priority.

And Woody’s second sentence about not seeing the best of Mark yet, is his opinion. We will see what happens. He doesn’t have a crystal ball, and neither do any of us.

But Rex and Woody have to start realizing, they can’t will a player to be better with strong endorsements. It doesn’t work that way.
