Woody “not happy” according to Post Dan Leberfeld

A source told New York Post columnist Steve Serby that Jets owner Woody Johnson was “not happy,” after Panthers 30, Jets 20.

Johnson seemed happy last Sunday based on his comments to ESPN Radio in New York, including rave reviews for Rex Ryan’s defense.

“I think our defense is amazing,” Johnson said.

What changed in a week?

The Jets lost to the red-hot Carolina Panthers on the road.

The Jets are starting a number of the GM’s draft pick, even though a few aren’t ready.

What is Johnson expecting from Ryan, with a young, raw starting quarterback learning on the job, backed up by a young, raw quarterback learning on the job?

If Woody’s “not happy,” those emotions shouldn’t just be directed at Ryan, but John Idzik as well.
