“It couldn’t have helped us,” Sanchez said. “Rex is making his own judgment on that and I totally respect that, but at the same time as a competitor, I don’t want to use that as an excuse or a crutch, like you get a free pass because of the lockout. I understand what he’s saying, but I needed to play better.”
